CINDY ECKERT

Fighter. Truth Teller. Unapologetically Pink.

Portrait of a woman with wavy dark red hair, blue eyes, wearing bright pink lipstick, hoop earrings, and a vibrant pink top with feathered sleeves, standing against a white background.

I’M STARING DOWN THE ESTABLISHMENT.

I’m an β€œunapologetically pink” entrepreneur, billion dollar dealmaker, public speaker, and tireless advocate for women.

I’m taking on the status quo in women’s sexual health.
Who’s blinking first? Not me.

β€œThey ask how I succeed in a man’s world. I don’t accept the premise of that question.”

ABOUT ME

As CEO and Founder of Sprout Pharmaceuticals, I made history with Addyi β€” the first and only FDA-approved pill for women’s most common sexual struggle. In 2015, I sold Sprout Pharmaceuticals for a record-breaking $1 billion. When big pharma mismanaged the launch, I got Addyi back and not only made it accessible for women but changed the landscape in the conversation on women’s health.

Every day, I’m fighting for women’s sexual health + gender equity in healthcare.

β€œProof can force
a global conversation and data can force a better decision.”

THE LITTLE
PINK PILL

My β€œAha” Moment.

Series of brain MRI scans showing increased activity with HSDD, indicated by pink and green areas in the brain images.

Fifteen years ago, I had a life-changing β€œaha” moment looking at brain scans of women with low libido. For women, interest in sex starts in the brain. You can learn more about the FDA-approved β€œlittle pink pill” here.

β€œNo I will not β€˜tone it down,’ the fact that my wearing pink offends you is a you problem.”
